The guiding principles at Brightcrop stem from a vision to enrich health by nurturing our body with naturally grown food. Our practices abandon the use of chemicals across the entire farming process, starting from the seed to the finished produce. All our products go through extensive cleaning, hygienic processing and packing in exclusive food-safe facilities. Consumers have relished Brightcrop’s range of handpicked products, suitable for every meal. We have impacted the livelihood of small and marginal organic farmers in the Northeastern region of India, West Bengal and Maharashtra, by helping them develop a conducive ecosystem in sustainable agriculture - we educate farmers regarding proper organic farming practices and provide guidance from sowing to harvesting. Our hard work and efforts were praised and we were declared the Best Startup at the Northeast Startup Festival in association with Brahmaputra Region Angel Investor Network (BRAIN) and IVY Growth Associates in 2022. Prior to this, we were awarded the Best Startup (Eastern Zone) at Agri Startup Awards 2021 hosted by MANAGE, Hyderabad and Samunnati. We have also been awarded with Business Accelerator Award by Bengal Innovation and Business Acceleration Centre (B-IBAC) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Founded in 2018, we have been successful in certification of over 800 acres of farmland and have successfully developed an effective supply chain for the products. Products from these farms are certified organic as per Indian organic standards, National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP), and National Organic Program(NOP) by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We also support Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) method of agriculture where we promote products which are not certified organic but grown naturally without usage of any chemicals.

All our products are directly procured from farmers who are registered with us and the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA). Better farm livelihood is preserved by preserving ancient farming methods.

About the founders There are certain ideas in life that might ordinarily seem insignificant yet the power they have over us, overwhelms us. Founded in 2018, it has been a roller coaster ride, with every day being a learning experience for us. Today, Brightcrop Agro has collaborated with 1000+ certified organic farmers across India and has market presence in all Indian States and abroad. Bringing a positive change in the lives of marginal and small farmers by empowering them to use organic farming without any harmful chemicals is the fuel that drives us.
